On Friday, 27-01-2023, Gandhi Centre in collaboration with Seshadripuram Institute of Commerce and Management, #40, Girls School Street, Seshadripuram, B’luru-20 conducted a debate on the one of the Seven Social sins listed by Gandhiji – “Commerce Without Morality”, in the AV Room of the SICM College Auditorium, at 12pm. to 2pm. Programme started with prayer song, Prof. Dilip Kumar Yadav, Professor of Hindi coordinated the programme. Ms. Srilakshmi compared the programme and welcomed the guest and the gathering.

Prof. Vidya Shivannavar, Principal of the SICM presided over the function. Prof. A.V.Promod and Prof. Akashkumar Singh, Asst. professor of Dept. of Commerce were the judges for the debate competition.

Only eight participants in the final round and speak about the subject. Mr. Chirag Jain, Ms. Nidhi Mehata and Ms. C.Nesha were secured the three prizes respectively.

Prizes were sponsored by Bhavan’s Gandhi Centre. At the end Dr. Meena Deshpande, Hon. Director of the Gandhi Centre, speak about the Gandhiji listed Seven Social Sins and in particular Commerce without Morality. The Programme concluded with the vote of thanks. More than fifty students and faculty members attended the function.
