The GCSHV celebration on October 3, made at NGMA Bangalore, was attended by only about 300 persons but among them were Justice M.N.Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India, Padma Vibhusan Dr. K.. Kasturirangan, former Chief Secretaries of Karnataka Bipul and Teresa Bhattacharya, Former Ambassador of India to UNESCO Mr. Chiranjeev Singh and Grammy Award laureate Ricky Kej, Those who spoke on this occasion were Justice M.N.Venkatachaliah, Mr. Ricky Kej and myself. Mr. Kej played his moving composition on Gandhi & the environment.

Thereafter Dr. Padmaja Suresh presented a specially choreographed Bhatanatyam ensemble dance titled ‘Ekam Sat’ A video recording of this event is now carried on the GOI Ministry of Culture website.
