The book release was made at 6PM jointly by ASCI chairman Mr. K. Padmanabhaiah ( former Union Home Secretary), Director General Prof. Nirmala Apsinghikar and Mr Richard Saldanha, member of the ASCI Court of Goverrnors. In his comments following the book release Mr Padmanabhaiah praised the book and expressed amazement that a vast amount of pertinent historical material, Indian and foreign, could be contained in only 137 pages. He stated that the author had convincingly argued the validity of his affirmation that Gandhi had revolutionized revoluation and spiritualized it, which is the subtitle of his book.

Among those present on this occasion were Lt. Gen.(Retd) M.A.Zaki, Rear Admiral (Retd) Keki Pestonjee & Mrs Sherin Pestonjee. Former DGP (Andhra Pradesh) Aruna Bahuguna and British Deputy High Commissioner in Hyderabad Andrew Fleming.
